Articles are grouped into topic clusters. The first public cluster covers Vietnamese writing systems and related language history (Chữ Hán, Chữ Nôm, Quốc Ngữ, and modern literacy).

Reference material on Vietnamese language and literacy
Vietnamese Language Reference publishes neutral, citable articles for readers who need accurate explanations - not rankings, funnels, or promotional copy.
What we avoid
We do not publish affiliate-style app rankings, vendor marketing, or pages that mimic depth without verifiable claims and listed sources.
How we cite
Each article lists references in frontmatter and renders them on the page. We prefer universities, peer-reviewed work, libraries, preservation organizations, and academic books; encyclopedic summaries may support overview claims but are not treated as final authority.
Editorial principles
- Substantive claims should trace to a listed reference or be explicitly qualified.
- When evidence is incomplete, we narrow the claim rather than speculate.
- Articles in the same topic cluster should cross-link and avoid repeating the same lede.
- Draft articles stay out of public listings until they meet the same bar as published work.
